"Handbuilding with Clay" |

This class is perfect for the beginning sculptor or the person who wants to perfect their hand-building skills. Steve Acton will instruct on the proper use of tools, techniques and lead you to create 2 (or more) completed pcs. in this 4 week session. You will learn: the basics to clay; different types of clay; how to build, coil, slab & pinch; carve imprint and inlay clay; and you willin the process yu will produce a peice of art you will be proud of and will want to display. Project I: may be of the human form-real or abstract Project II: anything you may want to build handouts and other learning information will be given out throughout the class. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED. CLAY/GLAZES & BASIC STARTER KIT. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED |

| Classes must be paid in full at the time of registration. Check with the shop for "closing" dates for each class. |
| For multi-session classes - payment schedules can be arranged. |
| Our instructors are independant contractors - many are "visiting artists". Class fees are set by each individual and are non-negotiable. |
| Materials are ordered based on enrollment, therefore if you are unable to attend we will try to "fill" your place - otherwise, no refund will be made. |
